With John McEnroe back in the news with a new book, and his idiotic comments about Serena Williams to go along with it, now is a good time to remind everyone how much of a terrible person he is. Starring Shia LaBeouf (again, brilliant stunt casting) and Sverrir Gudnason, the film centers on their Wimbledon Championship showdown in 1980. Borg vs. McEnroe is directed by Janus Metz Pedersen, and also stars Stellan Skarsgård, Tuva Novotny, and Robert Emms.

Borg vs. McEnroe hits theaters on September 22nd, 2017 in the U.K, but has no official U.S. release date.

Borg vs McEnroe is a film about one of the world’s greatest icons Björn Borg and his biggest rival, the young and talented John McEnroe and their legendary duel during the 1980’s Wimbledon tournament. It’s a story about two men that became legends and the price they had to pay.
