It’s been 25 years since the L.A. riots, and not much has changed. Sparked by the brutal beating of Rodney King by L.A. police officers, the destruction and psychological impact had an indelible effect upon the community, as well as the rest of the country. With the 25th anniversary of the riots occurring this year, some specials and films have explored the many events that led to the riots. The latest to do so is the film Gook. Not only do we have a trailer and poster for the film, we also have the dates of when the film is premiering across the country. Gook will premiere in Los Angeles on August 18th, 2017 at the Arclight Hollywood and Regal LA LIVE Stadium. It’ll be followed by openings in the following cities on August 25th, 2017:
