Hollywood is rife with directors that utilize one or two actors throughout their films. Scorsese/DiCaprio, Tarantino/Jackson, and Anderson/Murray, just to name a few. For director Joe Swanberg, Jake Johnson of New Girl fame is his go-to guy. The actor has starred in Swanberg’s Drinking Buddies, Digging for Fire, and the Netflix series Easy. The duo has teamed up yet again for a film centered on what appears to be the world’s unluckiest gambler.

Win It All hits Netflix on April 7th, 2017.

Jake Johnson (New Girl) stars as small time gambler Eddie Garrett, who agrees to watch a duffel bag for an acquaintance who is heading to prison. When he discovers cash in the bag, he’s unable to resist the temptation and winds up deeply in debt. When the prison release is shortened, Eddie suddenly has a small window of time to win all the money back.
