One of the most anticipated movies of 2018 continues to shore up a phenomenal cast. With critically acclaimed roles in American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson, and This Is Us, Sterling K. Brown is the latest actor to join the cast of Marvel’s Black Panther movie. Per Marvel:

Emmy winner Sterling K. Brown has joined the cast of Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther” in the role of N’Jobu, a figure from T’Challa aka Black Panther’s past.

Brown recently won an Emmy Award and is Golden Globe-nominated for his portrayal of Christopher Darden in “The People V. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story.” The veteran stage and screen actor also garnered Screen Actors Guild and NAACP Image award nominations for the role as well as for the critically acclaimed TV show “This Is Us.”

Directed by Ryan Coogler (“Fruitvale Station,” “Creed”), “Black Panther” stars Chadwick Boseman in the title role alongside Michael B. Jordan, Forest Whitaker, Lupita Nyong’o, Angela Bassett, Danai Gurira, Daniel Kaluuya, Winston Duke, and Florence Kasumba. The film arrives in theaters on February 16, 2018.

With such a diverse and eclectic cast, I’m predicting that Black Panther becomes Marvel’s best movie to date.
