After 30 years, the much asked for sequel to one of the greatest sci-fi films has finally arrived. Starring Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford, Blade Runner 2049 brings us back to the world of Deckard and the replicants. However, the follow-up is directed by someone other than Ridley Scott. Denis Villeneuve (Sicario, Arrival) is the man behind the camera, and appears to be the right choice for this film.

Blade Runner 2049 hits theaters October 6, 2017.

Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.
