Known for being one of the biggest events of the summer, Comic Con-International allows many creative types, performers, and movie and TV studios to showcase their brand, and upcoming events. And Warner Brothers was no exception. Premiering new trailers for Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad, both films are seeking to break the Marvel Comics stranglehold on cinema-goers. Many critics pointed to the casting of Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman as somewhat ill-advised, as well as Jared Leto’s “different” take on the Joker. However, the latest trailers may put those critics to rest.

Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters March 25 2016, and also stars Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, and Jason Momoa as Aquaman. Suicide Squad hits theaters August 5th, 2016 and also stars Will Smith as Deadshot, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, and Viola Davis as Amanda Waller.
